Youngr is an electronic artist, he makes wicked original and bootleg/remix dance tunes that focus on spreading love and inclusivity through his music. I’ve been working closely with Youngr for years, working on everything from studio session work to mixing, mastering and touring as the playback and midi engineer. It’s not a secret that - besides being an extraordinary artist - Youngr is also my younger brother.

The story
We had been in bands together for 15 years. The first band we had success in was called Picture Book, which was an Ableton Live - live looping and remixing hybrid live drums, guitar and midi band (note - Back before it was easy, or cool, to do one in 2008 to 2012). In 2015, Youngr decided to go solo. And he focused on that technology to make it as fluent as possible for his show - the hybrid live/midi setup is extraordinary. It's built on 16+ years of doing this type of show. So being asked to help with the set up, build, programming and maintenance of the live show on the road is a huge responsibility. Today, we still work together as artists, as I support him with playback engineering on the road, production and mixing in the studio, and writing for other projects.

The Result
I’ve supported Youngr with hands-on touring – keeping the rig running on tours, introducing redundancy, guitar solutions, and build modifications. I’ve also recorded countless guitars, bass and lyrics for various songs. Plus mixes for over 20 tracks and even some mastering too.
